Metvix
160 mg/g cream

In the event of an inadvertent temperature excursion the following data may be used:

Metvix cream is stable when exposed to temperatures of up to 25°C for <72 hours.

The cream can be returned to the fridge with no change to expiry date provided the cream has not been exposed to 25°C for a single period of >24 hours.

Accelerated stability studies show that 3 days’ exposure of Metvix cream to a temperature of 25°C is compatible to use and should have an altered shelf life of 12 months.

Contact Galderma in cases where additional stability data is required. Refer to the electronic medicines compendium (eMC) at medicines.org.uk for company contact details.
