The PIC/S ‘Guide to Good Practices for the Preparation of Medicinal Products in Healthcare Establishments’ (PE 010-03) could be used to support the important role NHS hospital pharmacists have in preparing unlicensed aseptically compounded products under Section 10 exemption to the Medicines Act 1968.
