OnlineAbout the event
The Medicines Supply Team in Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and the Commercial Medicines Unit in NHS England Improvement (NHSEI) worked with SPS to create an online medicines supply tool. The teams are now actively maintaining this tool to support those in practice to manage communications and actions for medicines supply issues.
You’ll learn about the tool from its creators and authors. You’ll also hear from real-life examples as to how the tool is being used. There will also be ample opportunity to discuss the tool’s implementation and how to get the best out of it in your area.
Why it’s important
Medicines Supply issues affect good use of medicines across care settings. Being able to understand and communicate current issues is vital in ensuring continuity of care.
