Source London and South East Quality AssurancePublished

The ‘Guidelines for the Safe and Secure Handling of Medicines’ was a report written by a Joint Subcommittee of the Standing Medical, Nursing and Midwifery, and Pharmaceutical Advisory Committees, chaired by Professor R B Duthie and published in September 1988. It is now out of print.

Most hospital pharmacy departments should have retained a copy. If not, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Library will have a copy.
