The SPS team are working with the Medication Safety Network and the NHSI Patient Safety Team to develop guidance for Medication Safety Officers (MSO’s) to promote good practice in reducing harm from omitted and delayed medicines.

The previously published tool to support MSO’s in the development of a local list of critical medicines where timeliness of administration is critical has not be updated, therefore removed from this site.
