Our speakers shared their experiences of patients with autoimmune disease related depression and anti-TNF depression. The session explored the results from a question delivered via a social media platform to gain a broad understanding of current knowledge and potential opportunities for learning and upskilling healthcare professionals in this area.
Why it’s important
Pharmacists across sectors are in a position to identify patients who may have developed side effects to a newly prescribed anti-TNF medicine, especially those experiencing depression. This is a very important topic to raise awareness as it can have a negative impact on patient’s lives.
