This is an exemplar risk assessment for homecare prescription management during Covid-19. It highlights the risks associated with all processes involved in generating and transmitting copies of wet-ink paper prescriptions and how it affects patient safety during the pandemic. The contents of the risk assessment have been used as a supporting document for the NCHA guidance for homecare prescription management during Covid-19, which has been published recently.
