In the event of an inadvertent temperature excursion the following data may be used:
Insulatard vial: The products are stable when exposed to temperatures <25°C for 4 weeks (40units/mL) or 6 weeks (100units/mL).
Insulatard Penfill, InnoLet, FlexPen: The products are stable when exposed to temperatures <30°C for 6 weeks.

Please refer to the manufacturer’s product literature for recommended storage information at https://www.medicines.org.uk

Reduce expiry to 4 weeks or 6 weeks depending on the formulation as described above
If exposed to the conditions above, keep the product outside of the fridge.

The cartridge and pre-filled pens are stable when exposed to temperatures <30°C for 28 days. Do not return to the fridge.
The vials are stable when exposed to temperatures <30°C for 28 days.
